organizations working to support Moms & Families have formed a
National partnership this month in the hopes of reaching an even

Nearly 4000 Moms per year are being connected

are provided with a unique learning opportunity as well as a fun way
to bond with baby while meeting other Moms and babies in a social
environment. During all three of our programs, Moms can demo the
most popular classes in their community, learn from leading experts
on all things Mom & baby, and simply get out and connect. Mommy

Postpartum Depression and Perinatal Mood
Disorders affect approximately 15 - 30% of Moms within the first year
of giving birth. It is believed that this statistic is in fact much
higher as so many Moms do not come forward. The majority of these
Moms do not get help for a variety of reasons: either they go
undiagnosed, are unable to find help, or never come forward because
of the stigma attached to PPD & PMD's. Through Awareness and
Education we can change this stigma and make it easier to find help.
Canadian Moms are raising our next generation and their mental health
is of top priority!
