Caring in community and caring for community. This is my mission. I want to help individuals find a place where they can quickly and easily locate resources and support to facilitate their recovery from Perinatal mood disorders. PMDA’s website and its support groups are an important tool in this process. In the support groups themselves a space is created which fosters an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect so that each individual can grow the confidence to find their unique way on their path to healing. It is our selves and our bodies that are the healing miracle.
It does truly take a community to care for the women and children and families going through this experience. PMDA opens doorways of opportunity to anyone who wants to help by giving of their time, talents and financial resources to support this cause. This is what allows us all to care for and improve the health of our community.
I am honored to be a part of this work.
